NVRaffald I/S

NVRaffald i/s has chosen to implement RENOMATIC for the purpose of waste handling in the Danish municipalities Holstebro, Struer and Lemvig. NVRaffald i/s, NordVestjysk Renovationsselskab i/s is a joint municipal cooperation within the waste area between Holstebro, Struer and Lemvig.

NVRaffald is responsible for collection waste from private households in the three municipalities:

• Refuse disposal
• Recyclable paper and metal and plastic packaging
• Collection of bulky waste, garden waste and dangerous waste
• Operating the recycling depots in the municipalities Holstebro and Lemvig

Muntiple municipalities in the same system
The upcoming implementation of RENOMATIC is a prime example of how several municipalities can be managed in the same system, and NRVaffald has great expectations to RENOMATIC.

RENOMATIC is also capable of managing the different working procedures regarding waste collection in the three municipalities. As an example Lemvig Municipality has chosen to keep some of their old working procedures, where Holstebro and Struer have similar procedures. “In that particular case Logimatic has shown great interest in customising RENOMATIC, so it can be used in all of the municipalities”, says Gitte Bak from NVRaffald i/s.

“One of the main reasons for selecting RENOMATIC as a future system, is because it is an IT system that is developed only for the purpose of waste handling. Furthermore, we evaluated the RENOMATIC as a very user friendly system, that contains exactly the amount of information that is needed be the users,” Gitte Bak continues.

Internet solution
Logimatic’s Internet solution has been in focus. When collecting bulky waste and garden waste, it enables the user – via the Internet – to order a waste collection. The individual citizen is able to see potential collection days as well as how many collections that has been carried out at the address. This functionality is important, as there are limitations regarding collections per year. “This solution has also met your expectations regarding user friendliness,” states Gitte Bak.

We consider Logimatic as a very professional partner with specific knowledge in the field of waste handling, and should we wish to expand the functional scope in RENOMATIC, it will also be possible,” concludes Gitte Bak.
